Scope of role

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmerto join our growing team and play a key role in delivering sophisticated industrial automation and electro-mechanical control systems for clients in Ireland and Internationally. This is an an opportunity to work across the full automation lifecycle - from functional specification, control system architecture and PLC programming through to integration, simulation, testing and on-site commissioning.


What we're looking for in you

  • Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or equivalent technical experience/certifications

  • Experience - 3+ years hands-on PLC /HMI development experience in electrical automation.

  • Advanced proficiency in PLCs/HMIs such as Siemens, TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Studio

  • In-depth understanding of mainstream platforms (e.g. Rockwell Factory Talk, Control Logix and motion control systems)

  • Comprehensive understanding of Irish/International safety standards.

  • Strong diagnostic skills, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, devise problems, be adaptive, innovative and flexible in meeting challenges/changes that arise.

  • Be methodical, structured and accurate in your approach to coding, systems and documentation development.

  • Ability to lead and support a team enabling performance standards, growth and progression.

Have you at least 3 years in a supervisory/foreman capacity, responsible for managing a workshop and team?
Are you a qualified/certified electrician with at least 5 years industrial/automation work experience ?
